Theology and socialism brought Karl and Suse von Schwanenflügel

and their 7 children together. And for 25 years they operated a bio-dynamic farm

in the heart of the German countryside.

Now in the south of France, after much hard work, we can please ourselves.

We put into practice our ideas and ideals; hospitality, organic fruit and vegetables;

To join together work, life, joy and fun and to share this with our guests.

Paraza, this picturesque village at the edge ot the Canal du Midi

discovered us rather than us Paraza!

It was here that Pierre Paul Riquet, who constructed the Canal du Midi

(built 1667 to 1681), lived and worked for some time in the beautiful

Chateau de Paraza, to give to France and us his gift of this cultural world heritage.

This ingenious structure is a waterway stretching from the Atlantic via the Garonnne

through Carcassonne to the Mediterranean at Agde near the Basin de Thau.
